Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith attorney Anthony Hohn was featured recently in a webinar on how to effectively handle problem employees.
Hohn, a member of the firm’s litigation practice, presented a program on discipline in the workplace for Howalt+McDowell Insurance’s Howalt University. His presentation for employers adressed how to investigate and document performance and misconduct issues and how to properly handle the discipline process based upon the legal ramifications of an employer’s actions. His session provided tips to ensure a process that both complies with the law and serves to best prepare the employer for possible legal action by the employee.
