Summer Associates Michael Snyder, Morgan Peck and Tyler Coverdale
Davenport Evans is pleased to welcome its 2013 summer associate class of Michael Snyder, Morgan Peck, and Tyler Coverdale. Davenport Evans has a long history of hiring associates who have participated in the firm’s summer associate program.
Michael Snyder attends the University of South Dakota School of Law and will graduate in May, 2014. A Pierre native, Snyder serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Volume 59 of the South Dakota Law Review, and is a research assistant to Professor Christine Hutton. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Mass Communications from Minnesota State University, Moorhead.
Morgan Peck studies at the University of South Dakota School of Law and will graduate in May 2014. A native of Sioux Falls, Morgan serves as an officer for the Moot Court Board, and was a semi-finalist at the New York City Bar’s Region 14 Moot Court Competition in November 2012. Morgan received a Dean’s Certificate for High Grade in Fundamental Legal Skills: Research and Writing, and the Alan Bogue Memorial Scholarship. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and economics from the University of South Dakota.
Tyler Coverdale attends the University of Iowa College of Law and will graduate in May 2015. He received a full-tuition scholarship to Iowa Law. Coverdale grew up in Pierre and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Philosophy from Augustana College.
Davenport Evans seeks to provide summer associates with a broad range of legal experiences. Each summer associate works with supervising attorneys from the law firm’s litigation and business sections to help provide a realistic glimpse into the practice of law. Summer associates conduct research, draft substantive legal documents, and accompany attorneys on a variety of legal matters.
