Davenport Evans is pleased to welcome its 2016 summer associate class, Ryan Redd, Ashley Brost, and Elliot Bloom. Davenport Evans has a long history of hiring law students who participate in the firm’s summer associate program.
Ryan W. W. Redd attends the University of South Dakota School of Law and will graduate in May, 2017. In addition to his legal studies, Ryan is pursuing his Master of Business Administration degree. Ryan serves as the Copy Editor for Volume 62 of the South Dakota Law Review and Tom Simmons’ Graduate Assistant. Originally from Columbus, GA, Ryan moved to South Dakota to complete is undergraduate studies at South Dakota State University, in which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with an emphasis in Business.
Ashley R. Brost attends the University of South Dakota School of Law and will graduate in May, 2017. Ashley serves as both a member of the USD School of Law Moot Court Board and the Symposium Editor for Volume 62 of the South Dakota Law Review. Originally from Sioux Falls, Ashley received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana University as well as her Master of Education degree from the University of Sioux Falls. Prior to law school, Ashley worked for a South Dakota Senator in Washington, DC, and also as a middle school teacher.
Elliot J. Bloom attends the University of South Dakota School of Law and will graduate in May, 2017. He serves on the Moot Court Board and Trial Team. Originally from Scenic, South Dakota, Elliot earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Augustana College. Prior to attending law school, He worked in the chemical industry where he developed and provided cleaning products for meat packing companies.
Davenport Evans seeks to provide summer associates a broad range of legal experience. Each summer associate works with supervising attorneys from the law firm’s litigation and business sections to help provide a realistic glimpse into the practice of law. Summer associates conduct research, draft substantive legal documents, and accompany attorneys on a variety of legal matters.
