Davenport Evans Announces 26th Annual Scholarship Award Winners

Davenport Evans has announced its 2013 scholarship recipients. At a ceremony May 14, the firm awarded eight scholarships totaling $20,000 to be used at institutions of higher learning in the state of South Dakota.

This marks the 26th consecutive year the firm has provided scholarships to graduating high school students in surrounding counties. Scholarships are awarded through the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation. Congratulations to each of the following recipients:

  • Brian Albertson, Brandon Valley High School, planning to attend South Dakota State University
  • Kaela DeJong, Canton High School, planning to attend the University of South Dakota
  • Mona El-Gayar, Madison High School, planning to attend South Dakota State University
  • Rebecca Froehlich, Madison High School, planning to attend the University of South Dakota
  • Erin Kinder, Tri-Valley High School, planning to attend Augustana College
  • Brittany Kortan, Roosevelt High School, planning to attend South Dakota State University
  • Traci Lenz, Brandon Valley High School, planning to attend South Dakota State University
  • Chase Marso, Brandon Valley High School, planning to attend Augustana College
