Davenport Evans has announced its 2015 scholarship recipients. At a ceremony May 14, the firm awarded eight scholarships totaling $20,000 to be used at institutions of higher learning in the state of South Dakota.

This marks the 28th consecutive year the firm has provided scholarships to graduating high school students in surrounding counties. Scholarships are awarded through the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation. Congratulations to each of the following recipients:

  • Hope Downey, Sioux Falls Lincoln High School, planning to attend Augustana College
  • Sarah House, Brandon Valley High School, planning to attend Augustana College or the University of South Dakota
  • Payton Larsen, Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School, planning to attend the University of South Dakota
  • Mykayla Palmer, Brandon Valley High School, planning to attend the University of South Dakota
  • Emily Runge, Sioux Falls O’Gorman High School, planning to attend the University of South Dakota
  • Jessica Tisher, Dell Rapids High School, planning to attend Augustana College or the University of South Dakota
  • Karee Wicks, Rutland High School, planning to attend South Dakota State University or the University of South Dakota
  • Kjerstin Williams, Brandon Valley High School, planning to attend the University of South Dakota
