The 16th Annual Gourmet Guys event will take place Sunday, April 30 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Active Generations, 2300 W. 46th Street, Sioux Falls, SD. Co-chefs Chris Conrad of First Bank and Trust and Justin Clarke of Davenport Evans are shown above. The annual event features prominent men from the Sioux Falls area who volunteer to create culinary samples for an estimated 500 guests, benefiting Active Generations programming for older adults.
This is the fourth year co-chefs Justin Clarke and Chris Conrad have brought their culinary skills to the competition. In past years, they were known for red velvet “Devil’s Rice Krispie Bars” and “BBQ Pork, Pork and Beans.”
In 2017, Justin and Chris will be preparing, “Pig on a Pillow,” a smoked sausage and cornbread appetizer. “This is our fourth year participating and it has been rewarding each year,” said Clarke. “The goal is to raise funds for Active Generations and it is great to be part of such a well-received community event.” Click here for the full-sized GourmetGuys Poster 2017.
Tickets are $40 in advance, $35 for AG members, and $45 at the door, and a limited number are available. Tickets may be purchased at the Active Generations Ticket Window or by calling 605-336-6722.
