The 17th Annual Gourmet Guys event will take place Sunday, April 49 from 4:30-7 p.m. at Active Generations in Sioux Falls, SD. The annual event features prominent men from the Sioux Falls area who volunteer to create culinary samples for an estimated 500 guests, benefiting Active Generations programming for older adults.

This is the fifth year co-chefs Justin Clarke of Davenport Evans and Chris Conrad of First Bank and Trust have brought their culinary skills to the competition. In past years, they were known for red velvet “Devil’s Rice Krispie Bars,” “BBQ Pork, Pork and Beans,” and “Pig on a Pillow,” a smoked sausage and cornbread appetizer.

“This is our fifth year participating and it has been rewarding each year,” said Clarke. “The goal is to raise funds for Active Generations and it is great to be part of such a well-received community event.”

Tickets are $40 in advance, $35 for AG members, and $45 at the door, and a limited number are available. Tickets may be purchased at the Active Generations Ticket Window or by calling 605-336-6722 or emailing [email protected].
