The Young Professionals Network (YPN) is a program of the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, celebrating nearly 1,000 members, aged 21-39. The annual YPN Crossroads Summit, taking place Thursday, August 12 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, is one of the largest young professionals’ conferences in the region.
This year’s conference will bring professionals from all industries together for a full day of inspiration, learning & building relationships.
The schedule includes a variety of networking, engagement space activities, speakers, and panels. Breakout Sessions are divided into four categories: Personal & Professional Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Technology & Innovation, and The State of Our City.
Davenport Evans Lawyer Doug Hajek will speak as a panelist for The State of Our City, on a panel entitled, “The history & progression of Sioux Falls,” moderated by Jon Lauck of Augustana University. Doug’s portion will cover banking, specifically how Citibank came to South Dakota, impacting the future of the state and its banking industry. Other panelists include Jim Woster, speaking on Agriculture, and Fred Slunecka, speaking on Healthcare.
