On January 15, Davenport Evans celebrated the holiday season as we do every year, with a time of service. Attorneys, staff and family members spent an evening serving a meal, eating with guests, washing dishes, scrubbing tables and sharing the blessing of The Banquet.
Dinner was served to 275 guests, including adults and children. Our team enjoyed some time to get to know our neighbors and the meaningful work done by The Banquet every day. The Banquet is a volunteer-based ministry that serves 16 meals per week in two locations in Sioux Falls. In 2024 they served 15,000 gallons of milk and 180,000 meals. At least 25,000 of those meals were to children under 12.
