Davenport Evans has a tradition of giving back as a company and as individuals, during the holiday season. This year, our individual project was a product drive for Journey of Hope. Journey of Hope strives to meet people on life’s path, providing necessities, connection, and uplifting experiences to take on the journey. This includes hygiene kits and products, and arts programming to youth in juvenile detention centers or other community locations.
Our drive this year collected gloves, hygiene products, and comfort kit items. Two legal assistants, Kris (at center in red), and Martha (on the right in red) are Thrivent members, and knew a Thrivent grant could make our giving go even further! They applied and earned Thrivent Foundation grants toward the project. This allowed more gifts to be purchased! Our thanks to Martha and Kris, and Thrivent!
